International Experience

Beginning her career as a ship's nurse on an international cruise liner, Sr Di travelled the world and gained invaluable healthcare experience across diverse settings.

Intensive Care Specialisation

Choosing to work at Africa's largest hospital, Baragwanath in Soweto, she spent over a year in their 20-bedded ICU before specialising in Intensive Care Nursing Science, then working at JHB Hospital's Cardio-Thoracic ICU.

Family and Further Education

While taking time to be a mother to her three children, she established a baby clinic and pursued further studies in Primary Health Care at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).

Community Healthcare

A decade was dedicated to working with NPOs Right To Care and Witkoppen Clinic, specialising in TB and HIV care, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to community health.

Plettenberg Bay Journey

Upon relocating to Plettenberg Bay in 2018, she worked as a psychiatric nurse at Bethesda Addiction Centre until its closure due to COVID-19. Following a period of COVID testing and contact tracing, she spent four years managing the large HIV Department at Kwanokuthula Clinic, overseeing comprehensive care for the community.

Personal Mission

Following the loss of her beloved father in an impersonal hospital environment, she made a heartfelt commitment to providing compassionate care for individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
